  1. Genuine yamaha gaskets are only £7 at Granby motors
  2. And I dont know what the double posting is all about!
  3. Katie, he said nice colour! And 80's yamahas look deadly in their garish shell suit colour schemes.
  4. Honda CB1 Honda NTV Honda Bros VFR 400 CBR 400 DT 400 MX
  5. They are very good off road until its really boggy. Keep the back wheel spinning and you can keep the mud out as much as possible. I bought mine at Stafford show. Should be about the same price most places.
  6. nitro mors, followed by 2000 grit wet and dry, then keep them looking sexy with a wipe over of wd40
  7. TKC's are a really very good all rounder, I like them Distanzia's get great reviews too, but I like my DT's to get muddy!
  8. Avon Distanzia if you dont wanna go near dirt ever, Conti TKC 80's as a good compromise
  9. Just checked ebay, unfortunately the sellers I was thinking of appear to have disappeared.
  10. Should be stamped in the key too...
  11. you should see him on a trials bike! He's been doing it for 15 years at least, him and Martin Hawyes really brought bicycle trials to the masses in the late 90's
  12. you can buy the blanks on ebay, and have them cut locally, or tell the ebay seller the yamaha key number, and they may do it for you.
  13. Cannae believe what ive just read...
  14. If its running.out.of puff at 6k it may be down to a dodgy high speed coil if you have the older type of cdi. My blue one pulls very nicely, and wheelies too easily even with ridiculous high gearing.
  15. Reminds me of my Dad's late friend. He ran his own excavator company, and was also into motorbike trials, watching him and his son at weekends at the local practice ground, building new sections was amzing to watch. He would literally stand right next to bucket and point out exactly what his Dad should be doing to make the section interesting! I suppose we all have our skills....
  16. On a similar note, whats best; a multi bike policy or a rider policy? and can anyone have one?
  17. I'd checked ebay, but only found brand new ones, they are very pricy for what they are, they would do for trackdays, practice, or sunday hooning. ebay is a pian when youre selling!
  18. I really like this one..... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wPcapo5ZB_o
  19. I'm having a clearout but struggling to work out whats worth selling and whats worth binning! (cant be arse with 101 ebay listings to make a fiver) Ive got some barely used Avons; AM22 110/80/18 and AM23 130/65/18 There doesnt appear to be any not for highway use signs on this particular pair ;-) If any one can either tell me their worth i'd be most grateful!! Cheers ! Ed
  20. I'm not to precious My road bikes get a clean when the chrome looks minging from road grime, (I ride all my bikes in all weather including my 200) My DT's and other off road bikes dont get washed very often (they invaribly look like my profile pic) tend to check levels, pressures, fixings and fittings quiclky before each ride or two.
  21. Haha, ill take that as a compliment Slice ! ?? To be honest, it is a cracking little bike, and it doesnt make sense to sell it, other than for the money. But needs must and its in a much more saleable state than any of my four DT's..... Cheers for taking the time to look lads!
  22. So I need the dollar to throw into this money pit of a house I'm buying. Ive ebayed one of my bikes. Never done this before. I usually just buy.... 23. You can still buy road legal Yamaha yz 2 strokes, you can still buy road legal Suzuki RMZ 2 strokes, you can still buy Honda 2 stroke trials bikes that can be made road legal, and Kawasaki MX bikes arent too much ball ache either. Whether you would wanty to ride any of the above on the road is another question,
