Buying my first bike
stay away from this! its way too fishy! if you were going to sell a bike you would have everything to hand and would be able to provide any documentation wanted! if not then your trying to hide something!

Problem with enginepower at higher rpm
im not sure on your bike m8 but bike engines work off the same principle, have you tried taking the filter off? if its blocked then you wont get fuel to the carbs, just whip it off and connect the fuel line straight to the carb to see if it is the filter. the float stops the carbs from overflowing but it needs to be set at the right height otherwise the engine sucks up more than whats going in. its worth checking as you dont know what the previouse owner did to it. some people "adjust" the float height as some form of performance "mod".

xvs 125 bobber exhaust
well im not wanting any more back pressure cause at the moment its got quite a bit which has lowerd my acceleration and top speed its not too bad but its noticeable. im going to get a new pipe at some point then i can have the choice of exhausts depending what im up to.....one for noise and shows and one for performance
-
xvs 125 bobber exhaust
well iv packed it out with fibreglas matt. but its still kicking out some noise im going to have a play with it at work and see what i can do just taken it out for a test ride and its effecting performance so defiantly need to get it sorted.

xvs 125 bobber exhaust
iv been out and bought a slash cut end can with removable baffle for the bobber.....had to modify it a little to get it on but its nice and snug one little problem though .......its loud. and i know what your thinking louder is better....but not on a 125cc revving its nuts off at 10k rpm ...(sounds like a giant wasp with a performance enhancing drug problem) iv had the baffle out and replaced the wadding with better stuff thats thicker, but its still a little loud for me......im going to get my manager at work to crack out his decibel meter to see just how loud it is but would like some ideas of how to make it quieter. cheers. .Paul.

Problem with enginepower at higher rpm
check the float height then check the fuel pump if it has one ... it sounds like its sucking more fuel out of the carb then whats going in from the tank. also check the tank breather.

anyone else want a yamaha owners club t-shirt (just keeping the topic alive mu ha ha ha ha ha! )

Small hands, short reach
i use a cable which can be adjusted for the clutch , and the front brake lever has an adjustable screw. but bending the levers is not advised, you can get adjustable levers for sport bikes but im not sure if they would fit a cruiser
-
Small hands, short reach
you could bend them but its tricky not to snap it best bet would be to get a spare one just incase

How can I increase power on my R125
go in the noobs section and tell us a little about yourself as to power go on wemoto.com and get a big bore kit (but expect to pay someone to sort out the fuel injection settings to cope with the increase in cc ) oh and if ur on L plates it will make you illegal so if you get caught then they will crush the bike and give you a few points on ur license so save your money and pass your test then get a bigger bike......job done!

Modifications
thats me fooked then
