Well i forgot to mention have just used my nice shiney new can, on my power steering belt on my car to stop it squeaking! 8) I really need to get a new belt as its out of adjustment, only changed it about 2 months ago, but the dicks in the shop obviously gave me the wrong one as it was nearly at the end of its adjustment when i first fitted it, i hoped it would have been ok, but has stretched too much

Well i presume its for outdoor use, is it to store the bike in or everyday use. As you can get vacuum bags, and you can get ride in bags, you can also get bags with rust inhibitors in, and tent bags blah blah blah Motrax make pretty good ones for around £40
  6. Im still waiting for an answer too, as i honestly dont know
  7. Yeah i would sooooooooo love to have a blast on one 8)

  9. Well i so nearly brought a Fireblade, as my dads mate had an import which was all carbon  Looked the nuts 8) Went like stink and to be honest i couldnt really say anything bad against it. Then i started to think i dont want to be like everyone else and wanted to get something different, so i went the YZF route

Ive got a pressure bleeder but to be honest i never really use it, as it is easyier to just pump the brakes than go find it and connect to a tyre etc

Personally i would fit an after market front on, as i know how crap the standard lights are even when the engine is running! I remember seeing a front think it was an acerbis one which had proper bulbs too  and was about £40

Jeez... Just when i brought a new can yesterday to start up my mates sisters car! (Damp leads) Just looking at the back and it says it contains Petroleum Distillates, this might explain the rubber eating

Hmm never heard of that, will go shopping tomorrow 8) The other thing i thought about doing was to use a harsher rubbing compound such as valve lapping paste and then use the autosol :?
  20. Alex replied to Bazz's topic in General
Whats the story with WD and seals then
  21. Alex replied to davec105's topic in General

  22. Ahhh i want my motorcross bike back after seeing that
  23. Alex replied to Bazz's topic in General
Yeah i spray all the alloy bits around the engine with the stuff to stop it corroding 8)

Well im normally always just wash them everytime i use the bike and rub a hard wax on them. But there was some road tar on them (At last hot sticky tarmac 8) ) Should have just polished it off rather than trying to take the easy way
  25. The trick i used to use on my motorcross bikes was to slide something under the grips and move around, spray some wd40 in there, twist and hey presto they come off. Then leave them to soak in hot soapy water and wash them off. Spray the insides with hairspray and quickly slide on making sure that they are the right way round, leave for a few minutes and hey presto 8)
