Well im always open to new ideas. Ross would you be happy to moderate it if it were to go live? But not meaning to sound bad here, but obviously we cant put a new forum up unless there is content to put there?

Nearly all engines these days have alloy heads, i would be hard pushed to think of a car which you wouldnt need to get the head skimmed
-
Well theres a few YZF owners here who are happy to help And welcome by the way nice to have a few more females to help control us

Tunnels are great when you drop a gear

I can always remember an old cook report where they used the hidden cameras to show how much work isnt done on a service

My clutch basket died in my CR250 and it cost £300 !!!
-
Well however im sure you would get used to it after a few track days. But there would be no comparison performance wise, it would be like jumping from a ford mondeo to a 911 turbo
-
Just thinking it would make it a very high bike
-
Hmm that sounded like the time me and my girlfriend both got completely different quotes from the same garage for the same work! surprisingly when i went it to get the quote it was half the price!
-
What the hell is involved in that service then !

I personally would attempt to fix it first, if not then the glue option. Remember to put a bolt in the hole before you get it powder coated as its a nightmare to clean the threads up otherwise. And a bolt is cheaper than a tap set

Yeah bloody red tape, should sell the bikes like every owner has them
-
Keys brothers in worthing actually have brand new fs1e parts... when they moved garages they found loads of old parts stil wrapped up which were never sold
-
Why the hell are we still posting nearly a year after he went wondering???
-
Post up a pic it would help us see where your coming from. Definatly bend the pins before you have it powder coated otherwise you will crack it later
-
Welcome to the forum mate, yeah keep us informed of your progress and keep posting them pics

I have to say this looks like a beast, i love the exhaust too, was really expecting another bike with an underseat exhaust but have to say im pleased that it hasnt

We should all chip in and buy him another just for the stories

To be honest not 100% sure, if it was doing it when ticking over it would narrow it down a bit, and without clutching at straws hard to say without actually hearing it
