Product Review Competition $50 Prize
I want to start a "good" product reveiw section, I know other forums have them but they are all pretty basic and not great. I am going to run a competition to write a product review to get this started. The product review must be for something related to your bike and have been purchased this year. I will pick the top 5 reviews, these will then be put into a poll for you guys to vote. If we start getting lots of reviews quickly (20+), I shall end this within a couple of weeks, if not I will wait until we have at least 20. The winner will receive $50 transfered by paypal. Now get writing!

Yamaha Owners Club Stickers?
Hi guys, I already have a contact who have agreed to make stickers for the club who use a very high quality 7 year vinyl which will not fade or peel overtime. Which is the problem with cheap vinyl decals. The reason I never went ahead was purely based on the amount which needed to be made at a reasonable cost, as the userbase is now a lot bigger this shouldn't be a problem. Maybe we should have a competiton for the best sticker design, I imagine we will need a couple of types. Maybe a smallish one, and one for trailing arms etc. And yes ShoKz your right the Yamaha Typeface is really hard to get hold of, the typeface I used in the forum header logo isn't the right typeface. It's just been manipulated to look as close as! If you guys can decide on colour/size/etc I will then re-contact the supplier and see what they come back with. Also we also have www.yamclub.com would you rather the shorter or longer URL? (Just reminded myself i need to update the DNS on it to point to yamahclub.com)

tyre choice
As long as they are both the same type of trye, e.g. you are not mixing radials, bias belted and crossply etc are of the same speed rating and compound you should be fine. But don't try and save too much on your tyres, remembering they are the only part of your bike holding you to the road. Just found this from the main site by Peter Wanstall:

Made a video
Hi there has been quite a few sections for a video area, I am holding off all changes to the current forum for the next month as IPB (the forum software) is being dramatically upgraded within the next few weeks to version 3. It's currently 2.3.6. Any additional features etc have to be compatible with the new version so is hard to choose the best way forward before hand. Also if we did we would have to possibly upgrade the software again and possibly migrate the database. IPB 3.0 from standard is a bit more web 2.0 so should have more social/media functionality straight out the box!

tyre choice
Personally i've always stuck with the same tyres the manufacturers decided to put new, they didn't spend hundreds of thousands testing the ideal tyres/tread for nothing

Site Update!
The most problematic issue which i come across is spam spam and spam. Unfortunatly we get users sign up just to post free advertising for them selves, I have no objections when it is related to a thread, but not just to spam their own products In regards to feedback, as much as it has frustrated some users, there has been some good feedback come through. Once the new version of the forum software is installed I will post up some of the ideas and see what the majority of you guys think
