Hello, I have a friend that purchased a 68 YR2. He is changing the oil and is unsure on the amount of oil needed in the crankcase. Also, I see on a parts diagram that there was a dipstick available for the bike. Does anyone have the dimensions of the dipstick? Or, can anyone photograph the dipstick next to a ruler? Sounds like the starter rollers. Had a similar problem on a yamaha 4 wheeler. I have an old XS400 that I parted out, still have the engine and the starting mechanism....

Hello, New member here. In the middle of a 1967 YR1 engine rebuild. I have pressed the crankshaft apart and I am now on the hunt for replacement parts.... Does anyone know of any reasonable sources for parts? Hoping to cross reference the Koyo bearings if possible. I know the con-rod journals are shot, and probably the connecting rods....
