its a know issue with this engine as the oil light is not a pressure switch but a level switch so when cornering and sometimes under heavey braking the switch sensor has no oil over it witch sets the light to go on
does it then start ok i did read some where about this some one sugested checking the filter between pump and carb if this is blocked that can cause pressure to build slowly so pump continues to tick till up to pressure also if theres a filter before pump as it may draw fuel slowly
ive just bought a parralell impoert fazer 1000 and my frame no starts jyarn141 how can i find out if its a full power import or a throttled down one from say france
I would say have a look at the fazer 1000 as good as it gets
tour, scratch, stunt or commute brill try one and see
but buy the fzs1000
the new one gets slamed by mcn
The divvy is an all right bike passed my das on one.
but after much research bought a fazer 600 to use for comuting now that was a brilliant bike
and after 14 months the allure of the 1000 finally got me and i picked up new one on the first of march
now that is a cool bike fast stable and good looking see my web site at
