    Yes I repacked the drive gear and oiled the cable. You can actually feel a stronger vibration from the speedo, and if you ride it at 15-20mph and stick your ear by it, it is coming directly from the speedo. Is it possible to get into the speedo? Thanks

    Hi guys, im new to the forum and have a couple of questions. 1st I was riding home from work the other day and my speedo started making a bad whine noise. Then the next day it started bouncing really bad to were I cant tell what my speed is What could it be? 2nd Can it be fixed or would a speedo from a 1980 xs400 work? Thanks guys and awesome forum!
