Does anyone here know of anyone good that would do this job for me or have any idea's on the fix itself. the gear dogs on the 2nd gear have worn! I've only had the bike a year aswell but its got so bad that it now slips out of gear, doesnt change properly into 3rd and makes an aweful sound if ever in 2nd gear. I've been told its a big job and will require the whole engine to be removed I'd like to know of anyone that have had this problem aswell

1st Bike 06 R1 lucky bastard, I wanted to do that but the insurance companys just laughed at me so I had to go for an R6, anyway as above I've found changing down in gears while breaking to be better than clutch in completely
  3. I've already ordered a newie from Sale Yamaha but I wanted to botch it up until I get the part on friday
  4. I broke off the black part that holds on the front brake lever I have ordered a new one but I need to use my bike still till Friday, is there anyway of temporarily sticking it together? I dont think it can be welded because its made of a cast compound! Would a super strong glue hold it together?

I've got Pilot Sports on my 02 R6 and its like ice skating in slippers, especially in the wet. Gonna look at some Pirelli's as I've heard they're the best for everyday use
  7. I'm up for that too geezers

I noticed the other day that Morrisons car parks arent very grippy either, high sided my 02 R6 turning onto the black icy car park last week and nearly broke my leg, no real damage though but I remember saying the very same thing 'Live and Learn'. Glad you're ok too matey
