DT 125 R
looking good Questions: . How did the PV from a YZ fit?, afaik they are a blade type PV unlike the barrel type from the DTR? Any Pics? What flywheel has been fitted? Where you get the port flowing done? Did they smooth/polish the inlet? The jets size: Its common to fit a 240 main jet when pinning the PV open or fitting a PV servo. But with the mods done on yours it may be worth trying a few larger sizes. OG on here as a 250 main and hasn't got the portflowing etc, and his runs quite well from all counts. Didn't see it in your list, but fitting a pipercross air filter will give a slight increase in airflow compared to standard. As will removing the snorkel from the top of the air-box, (not advised if using the bike for off-roading imo) this also changes the sound quite a bit and some people don't like the sound of the induction.

dt125x super moto :- steering stiff ?
Not ridden a DTX myself, but i think you may have alignment issues if the handling is as bad as you suggest. Only speculation at best, as its hard to read your post. Maybe ask this guy

WD40 will wash away all the grease from your bearings, i suggest you get them re-packed before they start to rattle/wear..

R125 insurance - £1700....?
last claim, April this year, one before was March this year. Its kept in my kitchen and is alarmed/immobilized and locked at all other times, also alpha dot'ed. tpft. SDP only. 2000 m/per year. Also add i have modifications on my bike (silencer), which my current insurers don't have a problem with, but it seems rampdale may do, because when i ticked that box i was told i had to phone for a quote also. Received an email saying rampdale will be in touch, so its watch this space kind of thing i guess. Thanks for the pointers though, i'll let you know the outcome.

R125 insurance - £1700....?
Don't think they want to insure me. "Sorry, we have been unable to obtain a quote from any of the insurers we have on our web site for this particular risk. Please use the REQUOTE option to change your details and run your quote again. If you prefer, you can click the 'Find Me A Quote' button. A copy of your details will be sent to us so that we can do our best to find you a quotation and email you the results as quickly as possible." I may give them a call to make sure.

Power Valve Help!!!
If you have disconnected the PV from the wiring loom it wont move when you put the key in as there will be no electric going to the servo to power it.

DT125 Oil Questions
The reason you probably didn't get a reply is because you haven't introduced yourself in the bar section of the forum . Manners go aloooong way on this forum

repositioning frame number on xvs
After having a frame powder coated and making the frame number unreadable, i was told to stamp the number on a plate and fix that to my frame by the local MOT tester. Didn't mention font size but said to stick it over the original number, so i presume its best to keep it in the same location. HTH

Yamaha DT125R won't start
Does the bike run at all? Did the bike run before the carb was swapped? How can you tell the bike is flooding? IS the plug soaked with fuel when you chop it? First 3 things i would check. Fuel (air/petrol) - Spark - Compression. I will say again, swap the float bowl (carb bottom) over and try it. Have you checked: The fuel for contamination (water, debris etc.) ? The breather on the carb? The reeds for cracks etc? Ran a compression test? Loose/corroded/damaged electrical connections?
