  1. Easiest way to earth the PV Ryan. The black wire is the earth wire, so isn't irrelevant. ( see above)

    Welcome to the forum. .

Sounds like a fuel blockage in the carb, did you strip it and clean all the jets and journals?
  4. You asked if there were any other pics needed. Olga Kurylenko
  5. Yeah a pic of Olga Kurylenko naked would be nice
  6. Not a chance, if they could remap DTR cdi's he would have a queue for miles of people wanting it done. Vids are always good
  7. Doesn't sound restricted to me, restricted is around 55mph. Are you sure your PV isn't working right
  8. Not like a YZ, they have a wider power-band and some bottom end to keep you moving. Get a working bulb from a torch or similar. Fix the wires to the terminals and battery as shown. Wire as below, if the bulb lights you have a circuit.

Pink with frilly bits on the seat then
  10. Do we take this last post as a sign as to how the tires handled off road
  11. Multi meter is one way to test it, a 9 volt battery 2 wires and a small light bulb works if you don't have a meter. Pinning the PV open will cause you to lose all bottom and mid range power, in exchange for a huge kick up the ass when you hit 6-7000rpm. Not a great idea for the road because it will need to be ridden like a hooligan. btw where abouts are you from?
  12. Its a link to their Facebook page, it doesn't work for me either, but i don't have facebook. I got a flyer for the show. EDIT: Found this 1 http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=67779325902 And this http://www.nemesismcc.co.uk/nemesis-mcc-forums/topic.html?id=120
  13. Don't know what to tell ya fella, works on mine with the loop of wire. Maybe earth it from the CDI or at least check there is a circuit to it from the cdi and the black/green wire isn't faulty.
  14. Slight increase in performance over a standard, but to reap the full benefits you either need a front pipe or you can gut the original.
  15. Anyone going? Yeah its a silly idea, but aren't they usually the best ones? The logistics would be fun, but if its all worked out, routes, stops, camping etc. It could be done
  17. That makes sense, fitted a big-one silencer to mine that had been cut shorter to fit the standard front pipe. So they did the opposite on yours by the sound of it and cut the front pipe Personally i wouldn't have the pipe welded together though, i would keep it as it is.
  18. Its hard to tell from the pics what you have done. Have you cut the black/green wire from the connector block? What would be best is a picture of the original block with the 4 wires and where/how you have run too with the new wires.
  19. Vez replied to pete123's post in a topic in Dual Sport, Offroad Bikes
No to lots of difference, does make a noticeable difference though. Yes you can fit just the silencer afaik. ( They sound pretty good to) Biggest difference you will see/feel is earthing the wire behind the speedo/headlight. Scroll down this thread a bit for pics and description http://www.yamahaclu...ned-about-ypvs/

  21. As far as i know you have to change the forks, wheel and brake caliper etc, so i presume the height will remain the same.
