  1. Hi John, please tell me you don't ride your bike in shorts and tee shirts.
  2. Hi Lee, where are you from?
  3. Blimey Ttask, mines a W reg which is 2000, so by my reckoning a P must be 95. Actually this is the type of bike I wouldn't mind buying for when I "go fishing" next year. If, and I mean If I was making an offer which I'm not because this isn't the right section, I would be happy to pay between £600 - £700 depending if I liked it or not.
  4. Is it ASDA motorcycle oil? Don't use car oil.
  5. Cheers lallasro, it's like when I'm trying to concentrate on something important on the news she's giving me verbal GBH of the ear. But, as I said when Corrie/Eastenders is on I'm not even allowed sniff, cough, or even breath. But I still love her even after thirty eight years of knowing her. (36 years of married bliss)
  6. I only wear ear plugs when the wife's talking to me when I'm trying to listen to the 6'o'clock news. When she is listening to her soaps I'm not even allowed to open my mouth!!
  7. I suppose a lot of favorite songs are triggered by memories. Jimi Hendrix - All along the watchtower When I was in the RN in the 60/70's The Kinks - All day and all of the night When I was in my last year at school 1964 The Kinks - You really got me When I was in my last year at school 1964 The kinks - Waterloo sunset When I was in the RN based in Chatham in the 60's Jimi Hendrix - Purple haze When I was best man at my mates wedding 1974? Although one of the best wedding songs as the bride was walking up the aisle during my mates wedding in the RN in the 70's was. "Whiter shade of pale" by Procol Harum
  8. I must admit that thought applied to me, if the thickness of the sprocket is a lot thinner than the groove in the shaft then I can only think that they are not a matched pair. I hope this helps.

    mot

I would be very, very surprised if it failed on that.
  10. My top ITunes most played are Jimi Hendrix - All along the watchtower The Kinks - All day and all of the night The Kinks - You really got me The kinks - Waterloo sunset Jimi Hendrix - Purple haze
  11. Brill, did you see my daughter?

    I Ask You

"you can cut that out" Ttasky
  13. There you go finner, you've had advice from the top.
  14. What I've been told by my insurance brokers is that you only have to insure it if you keep it on the "Public Highway" Hope this helps Ian.
  15. Bearing in mind that you still have to stick to the Highway Code. i.e. "do not cross continuous white lines or enter thatched areas" I learned that from experience Slice, as I was filtering through town standstill traffic I got pulled over by the old bill, who I think wrongly said I was crossing continuous white lines, when I tried to explain as soon as I'd seen the arrows to get back in I did. Then he started on about not being observant I then thought, shut up or I will get into trouble. Anyway after a father to son lecture, he let me get on my way. Although I was old enough to be his dad.
  16. Blimey Mr N. Where do you live? Maybe I'm a bit naive, but maybe I'm a bit spoilt here in the sticks.
  17. I totally agree with you there NEO. The amount of times I've stopped my kids crying by giving them a cuddle and reassuring them that everything is going to be alright is nobody's business.
  18. Sorry Kev, I still not got a clue.
  19. As Ian said, use your discretion but be sensible about it. Most car parks, if not all don't expect bikers to buy a parking ticket because there is nowhere to stick a "pay & display" ticket. But I have been to many places where you can just discretely park your bike "out of the way"
  20. Explain that one Kev, because I haven't a clue what you mean.

  22. Hang on there Slicey, Maybe you're being a bit hard on lallasro, I've just opened the link and read the text, but unless you click on the orange button you wouldn't know that she was in her mums arms, most people like me only tend to read the wording. In fact, until this post came up I didn't even think of clicking the orange button.
