Right Steve, good news. I have been helping my MOT examiner do my MOT test for the last twelve years or so. The reason being is they are out in the sticks and are a family business so are not interested in making money from MOT failures. How I help him is once he wheels the bike into the bike MOT area and checks the front suspension and rear suspension he then gets me to sit on the bike and go through all the other checks etc. But he never checks the kill switch.

Totally confused.

Bleeding Ell Andrew, that looks like something thats been salvaged from the depths of the Atlantic Ocean from WW2.

I used to work in a strip club in soho when I left the Navy Steve, only £10.00 a week. Not a lot but it was all I could afford at the time.

No. 1 insane drummer. Keith "Moon the Loon" Moon from the Who, fantastic drummer but sadly died of a drug overdose in 1978. Ironically the drug he died from was a drug he used to cure his alcohol addiction.

That takes me back to the sixties when I had a male equivalent bike. we used to sellotape an old woodbines fag packet to the front fork so it stuck through the spokes and made a clicking noise, the faster you went the more it sounded like a motorbike. As Paul said, the dynamos were crap because every time you stopped the lights went out. Those tapes on the handle bars were all the rage in the sixties but I used a black one very similar to the soft half of Velcro.

I totally concur meatloaf. I've just retired and have gone from a 600 diversion to a 1250 bandit and am just bonding with it at the moment before taking it out on long runs.

Cheers Slice, admittedly not my first choice of bike but as I said, "at the right time and the right place." We will have to meet up some time though.

Cheers everybody, and I mean everybody but a special thanks to Slice, Ttasky and Bippo. BUT, I have gone and bought the totally unexpected due to being at the right time and the right place. It is a Suzuki Bandit 1250cc But still got my Divvy though.(at the moment)
