Hi there everyone. Just a quick question. Does anyone know if it is possible to put a FZ600 back wheel into a FZ400 swing arm? Nice bike but the back wheel lets it down. Its way too skinny. LOL Any feedback appreciated Phil
  2. Hi there. I'm still interested in the wiring loom. If you could email me with the postal address that would be great. Much appreciated Phil

Hey guys. Wondering if someone can help. I'm after someone with an FZ400 preferably 1985 or around. The problem is i need to know where the wires from the pickup coils (left hand side of the engine) go. I have 2 blacks (one from each pickup) and an orange and a grey. The engine turns over and is getting a good spark from all plugs but won't fire up. The carbs have been removed and petrol squirted into all cylinders. I bought this bike with the wiring loom trashed. Maybe i have not put it back right. The ignitor wires are all loose and do not have the blocks on. So i am unsure which order these go in. If it is possible could anyone send any photo's of these terminals to [email protected]. Much appreciated Phil

Hi everyone. Just wondering if anyone can help me. I am after a full wiring loom for a 1985 Yamaha FZ400. Also does anyone know where i can get a wiring diagram from. I have got the haynes FZ600 manual but it is in not very good condition. Could do with a new one. I think this manual covers my bike. Please let me know if i am wrong. Will pay upto £30 for the loom. Thanks Phil

Hi there. Best bet is to buy a haynes manual. The one for your bike is £14.99 from the official haynes site or look on ebay. I'm prosuming its a 1978.

Hi there. I had a 2000 R6. I had it flat out in 6th down a long straight road. It went 165mph. No more than that. I had done nothing to the bike apart from a nice ART can with hi rise link pipe.
