Hi i just wondered if anyone could help me. i`ve just recently got a pw 80 for my son but its having problems it will kick and start fine tick over but wen u click it into gear and goto ride off it just dies after a few feet and its also losing oil form the exhaust badly ? i think it could be the automatic clutch thats gone and maybe a gasket ? thanks for your time pete

hi all i recently picked up another tzr 125 (f) for 75 notes and noticed that there is oil or a black sludge on top of the coolant in the expansion tank whats the cause of this ?? is it easy to fix ?? thanks pete

lol all ready tried that 2 of us swinging on it dont want to damage it tho even if i do have few engines

hey all this may sound really thick but i`m trying to take the flywheel of my tzr 125 and have no flywheel holding tool what can i use in place of this ?

exhaust maybe or will be restricted baffles and cat removal helps

hey check the piston rings i had same problem on a tzr new rings solved the prob like new bike take off and top end

hi 1 was wondering if anyone could help. at the moment i`m changing the the engine in my h reg (90) 3pc2 model 125 tzr for the earlier f reg 2rk model engine. but i have hit a problem the wires from the fly wheel and pick ups are different conecnections and color code. could anyone tell me what i have to marry to get it to run the correct way ? thanks for your time pete

Hi i was wondering if anyone could help i`m looking for the full ypvs kit for a 1990 yam tzr 125 been looking on ebay they dont seem to turn up often or if they do they have most bits missing i.e the ypvs control box could anyone point me in the rite direction to find one shops dealers breakers anywhere !! i will pay what ever price to get this. thanks for taking the time to read this post pete

Hi. I have a tzr 125 on a h plate (90) that is the uk model which as u proberly know dose not have the full ypvs unit n pully etc its pegged closed. i was told i could manually open the vave which i try`d with no joy due to the low bottom end take off (no joke stuck at 5 mph) unless i cud set off for a standing start then all hell broke lose. can i regulate it say a half or quarter open so it can be rode ? I was aslo offered a dt 125 ypvs complete kit (i know that the actual valve wont fit in the port) to large but can i get this to conect to my exsiting loom ? to run as normal ? or is it to much messin to derestrict cut my losses and sell n buy a derestricted model or get a totaly different 125. hi jim Thanks for the reply i`ve checked compression and new plug not yet had the exhaust off but will do tomorrow and will follow the steps you`ve posted and see how it go`s thanks again. pete

Hi i`ve solved the sticking problem but my tzr 125 just wont idle when the choke is off idles fine with the choke on though.It just keeps cutting out at a stop please could anybody give suggestions on what this could be ? thanks pete79

Hi i just wondered if anyone could help me wiv a problem i`m having with my tzr125 the revs are sticking and when the choke is on it idles fine for a few moments then will rise to near 6/7000 rpm. But wen i knock the choke off it will cut out. It is also under weight ie. click it into first go to set off. it needs a great amount of revs to do so and seems to not want to go over 8000 rpm but clutch dipped wil rev to the top. I`ve stripped and clean the carb jets no ovaling etc new plug new throttle cable and air filter not yet checked the reeds. plus the ypvs is not driven by the pully system etc how is it possible for me to manually open and close this at will ? thank you for taking the time to read my post if you could help let me know pete79
