Thats y im glad i got the MT-03 only produces 45bhp so no restriction of me

i have been told that it has been raised to 44bhp by my instructor im doing the new test one the 6th may

haha i hardly do ever even doing 55-60 i have been hit by a bee thogh looked funny cuz it got stuck inbetween my eyes on the visor so was sort of anoying never got one in my mouth thogh lol do you use a open faced helmet ???

just realised this thing turns on a sixpence lol went down the drive and manged to do a uturn in about one and a half road space way better than the MT-03 that just manages it on a wide doble road and thats on full lock

im with MCD fully comp lethers helmet,personal ingury,legal cover,brake down and it cost me £1100 a year with a years no clames on a MT-03 at 17 good price considering my ped's coverd for 3rd party fire and theft cost £450

well if you havent taken your test yet and ure doing the new test then you dont have to be restricted to 33bhp any more it 44bhp and you have to be on that for 4 years and then take another test to get on to any thing biger i have been told this by a cople of bike shops and my instructor and my MT produces 45bhp so im asuming the powerdif from 45-33 isent that much so it will still the quite quick i would think

ye lol we know no why the old owner took the exhaust's off a put the standard ones on but ohh well seems to be runing sweet now might convince him to get a power comander for my MT-03 and his XT think i might rob the K&N because it seems to run fine with just that in no other mods but we shall see

oops spelling mistake in the topic lol suposed to say slight no sligh well i decided to show off my dads XT660X the extras it has on it are as folowed .led mini indecators .Quill Evo2 pipes .tail tidy .acerbis hand guards .acerbis cyclops front light CNC fork yoke Mods made .CO2limiter removed .removed fork covers well we actuly dont like the fork covers off but the bloke befor took them off and the brakets that atach to the 2 bolts on the fork braces/clamps and we dont have a talk wrench so going to get them refited buy the yamaha delaler when it goes for a cervice it did have a K&N air filter but was unridable with the exhaust on as well so i removed it to save paying out for a dyno tune its a 2007 moddel and hes only had it about a week and a half thanks for looking i have to say its a joy to ride i just want my licens now lol just to go out on my bike and my dads

cheers for that my dads already a member but i have sorted it out now first droped the K&N out then was naughty a road it down the road lol then i decided to do the CO2 mod thing and that made it even smoother will get some picks up in a min it dont look like the normal XT660X lol sounds like a compleat beast as well i realy wouldent want to take out the DB killers thanks for the advice foalks

ok thanks will do that now and haha my dad racing thats funny he drives like a grandad now if it were my mums bike there might have been a chance of racing

ok thanks for the replys and by the CO2 cencer i mean O2 cencer its aparently helps the bike not be so rattely it fine on strat up and all that but just not when riding it :/ EDIT: well i told my dad and he would like to know where the closest one to warwickshire is and how much will it cost or is it worth buying a powercomander ??? also if i droped the airfilter out and put the old one back on would it solve the problem because on the quill web site it says no modifications needed :S

well i fitted some new exhausts to my dads XT660X that came with the bike they are made buy quill and sound awsome the problem is its so lumpy and chuggy its almost kicking the bike all over the place the bike also has a K&N filter on it and thats all thats been done to it what could be the problem im thinking it could be the CO2 sensor not leting the bike get the fule it need lower down the range so i could remove some of the limmit in the diag menu does any one have any advice sort of disapointing that my dads up set that his bike dont work

Hi im trying to do the CO2 limmiter dash mod to smooth out the bottom end on both my MT 03 and my dads XT660X but i seems that the 2007 model of the XT660X dosent work like the 2006 and lower model years becasue im holding down the select and resent buttons then turning the bike on and off and it just goes on to the normal dash instead of doing in to the diagnostics menu i have found no proof that this can be done on the MT03 but thorght i would try it is there any other way i can reduce the CO2 restriction because they are so lumpy in the low range ps the MT03 is a 2006 moddel and it suposed to work on the 2006 XT660X thats y i tried it Dan

nice 150bhp woo lol im still on a 6bhp 50cc haha i have my MT-03 660 and that only has 45bhp but it has tones of torque those mods sound good im going to get some led Indicators as well i hate big blocky ones Dan
