2010 YBR 125 Custom chain and rear wheel problems
Looks to me like your sprockets are ready fro replacing, they ahve started to "hook" over. That means a new chain needs to be fitted too, as an old chain will quickly fuck up new sprockets. That means you can fit new tab washers to the rear sprocket too. The tabs should be bent up against one of the flats on the hex heads. The axial float in the output shaft isnt ideal but ive seen worse, that may be a major stripdown to cure. As for the chink as the sprocket moves on the spline, something looks amiss ther to me. What holds the sprocket onto the splined shaft? is there no circlip, or bolt and washer to prevcent it from working off the shaft?

Day out at Donny
Yes, 26th. I think I was in Garage no 30. Cool in the morning, but warmed up a little in the pm. Stopped and finished all the sessions too. Left the track twice in the final session, avoided the gravel both times, just managed to stay on the grass, and get back on track. My fault, too eager. Yes Blackhat, I think the organisers used the breaks in the rain to pull the races in, one on Sunday and one Monday

Day out at Donny
Lucky to get the only decent days weather in March last week, trackday at Donington. Lots of red flags in the morning, but good sessions in the afternoon

Xvs 125 Dragstar poor throttle control
Whip the plugs out and have a look at the colour ie black/brown/wet etc. Also have a good look at the carb rubber, the black rubber Y shaped piece on top of the carb. Needs to be in good order with no cracks/splits and securely fastened so not leaking air. Its is full of old fuel, drain it out and try some fresh

YBR125 gear change troubles
Take the pedal off the bike first. Im guessing its probably held on with one hexagon head screw. Undo that and work the pedal off the spline. Dont forget to mark the pedal and shaft so that it goes back on in EXACTLY the same place after straightening

Yamaha R3 suitable as first bike?
Nice bike, but ( and many may disagree) as a first bike id go for something second hand that wont lose cost you so much if you deck it, and would be a darned sight cheaper to insure, and likely be a darned sight less attractive to thieving bastards. Use it to hone your everyday riding skills and gain confidence, and build up basic maintainence knowledge. Alot of bikes can be lowered via the rear suspension link and mounts

MT-09 Hot start issue
Snatchy trhottle response appears to plague a number of modern bikes these days from new. Its staggering that they can be supplied like this by the manufacturer. Updates do become avai;lable. Just a thought, but it may be just as cost effective to have it on a dyno, with the potential to have the ecu reflashed
