  1. Id be inclined to take the spark plugs out and check for hydraulic lockup first
  2. I may be harsh, but, its 3 less to worry about here
  3. Im all for life savers, any chance of less head movement though, making me feel seasick
  4. Uploading piccys worked for me this morning. What did you update? Can you roll the pc back?

  6. Aye, the kit has been removed so its 98bhp
  7. Damn, failed to spot that when I first checked the bike 25kw converts to 33.5hp, so if its restricted it'll be 64.5 hp now Odd figure

Aye, I think the red is that stretcher/filler fibre glass stuff. Used it few times in the past filling in holes in car floors
  10. Not familiar with the bike, but if you log onto the cmsnl.com website, find the correct page for the bike, they may have the drawing for that section

  12. Try ringing them up and ask if the bike reg is on their records
  13. If wiggling the bars brought the idiot lights on, that suggests to me a loose broken connection somewhere in that area

  15. OOOhhh, yer gonna need deep pockets in a few years mate. They're gorgeous, look after em
  16. Well done to all three of you, you must be absolutely chuffed
  17. Good point. When we had proper winters in the 60s, I dont recall ever not getting to work in the car and the roads weren't gritted, nor were the hedgerows and ditches filled with cars like today Nor did they shut the chuffin schools, we were told to take a change of shoes n socks Has the country gone soft in the head?
  18. £600 for a 2001 model, sounds like a bargain
  19. Id sugest ringing a Yam main dealer, they wont have the part Im certain, but they will have the part number, make sure you get it, that then allows you to search yourself. I searched high and low for a parts manual for the xvs125 and never came up with it. Cross reference the part number with the number for the same part on the virago 125/250. The 250 is 2uj-13586-00-00 I think
  20. Fix any damage and get it back up and running. Use it to learn maintenance, get into the good habits reqd to keep it roadworthy and you safe. Pass your test, get a bigger bike, maintain the good habits, pass the draggie onto to someone else for the same purpose (preferably without bobbing/chopping etc)
  21. Wood pigeons are one of the species that appear to be ever increasing in number. Used to clear my bird atble in minutes before I modded it to exclude them. and no time for grey squirrels either, tree rats
