  1. Its a v twin so there are two cylinders. Have you got the right leads to the right plugs? What do you mean by "then nothing". Does the motor cycle once then cut out?

No, its doesnt create a machining programme. You'll want someone with cad/cam software
  3. Have you got the part no?

2D engineering dwgs, yep. My software is a little old nowadays though, version 2000, but still perfectly functional

When I had my Radian, I fitted one of these. It was top quality, fitted straight out of the box no messing, sounded fantastic, looked great, and no re-jetting http://predatormotorsport.co.uk/Yamaha-YX600-Radian-exhaust-system-Stainless-Steel/
  6. Check to see that there is not too much oil in the motor. Also if memory serves me well, have a look , I think that there is a breather connected to the underneath of the airbox? This is a great resource for Radians http://badrad600.com/
  7. OOps. Yes, the lever pulls off, theres still a spline, so he should be able to rotate it round on the teeth
  8. Written by Professor Stanley Unwin?
  9. No Haynes for the XVS125 Second hand tanks virtually unobtainable
  10. Have a look at the pivot, i reckon the lever will be splined onto the pivot shaft. There is likely to be a mark on the face of the shaft, that needs to line up with the split on the lever. If theres no marks, you could try undoing the clamp screw, pulling the lever off, and moving round a tooth or two to suit

I remember my first trackday. I was buzzing for days afterwards. I think its wanting the thrill, see how far you can push yourself, and of course, most men are are competitive. We cant stop ourselves. The riders know the risks, track racing is less risk as theres no street furniture. His family and friends will be absolutely devastated, but road racing will go on

Cant be certain, but its unlikelt to have much storage space other then for a small toolkit
  14. Yes, I need to obtain a spare guide now, and mod that to suit, dont like to risk cocking something up without a spare avilable. Oddly, it looks more misaligned on the photo than it really is. In the meantime, the cable is well lubed and will be checked every ride for fraying
  15. Finally had some "me time" earlier this evening and fitted the home made extended lever What a difference. I only moved it to the middle of the three holes to start with, and I couldnt be more pleased. Clutch is now as light as a feather, changes actually feel smother. Ill keep a close eye on it, just to make sure its not creating a problem elsewhere on the linkage

  17. C'mon guys, side stand switch in 1972!! I admit, I failed to look up what an LS2-100 is/was made
  18. Clutch/side stand/neutral switch circuit fault?

Dont know if any other of you retired folk have this, but one thing perplexing me is that I have simply lost track of the day of the week. I reckon its down to the fact that doing stuff at the weekend was the only option while working. Now if I do that stuff in the week, I lose track of the days. I only knew it was Sunday today cos I looked at my Stafford ticket
  22. Im rather hoping that now i no longer work for a living, the risk of it returning is significantly reduced
  23. Finally got around to making the extended lever, nice little job. Not fitting it just yet though. Not been out for a decent ride for a few weeks, lifes been shit recently. Got to see the consultant about the carpal tunnel last week. As the cortisone injection worked for the tyriger finger on the left hand, he suggested that there was a good chance it work work for the right hand carpal. Pleased to say, it looks like he was right too. Had a decent ride out up to CMC Clay Cross and back this pm. Abolutely no cramps in the hand. Hoping it stays that way
