now the way i got around my family bike ban was, check the wording they use. after i fell off my bike my dad told me im never allowed to keep a working bike under his roof again, so as i was fixing it it stayed there, once fixed. moved to a mates house. and then id drive up to his house with all me gear in me car. jump on me bike, go riding, take it back there, jump in car. drive home. sorted

The MOT rules have been like that for a while now. It must not have 'not for road use' or 'race use only' etc stamped on it. Also even if it doesnt have those stamped on it the MOT tester can if he or she likes do a sound test and there is a certain Db level (think it was 82 or 92 or somthing cant quite remeber off hand). And they can fail it if it comes out over the limit... :/

lol oh dear! i gotta say some of those are much funnier than mine lol but here goes just brought my vfr400r and rode it to school one day. put the disk lock on to keep her nice and safe. then after lesson i run out of school and get to my bike and see some of me m8s walking down, so i thought, oooo quick get on the bike and get riding so i can show off me 400 (this is before most people in me year even have cars so it was a big thing for me ) anyway, i whack me helmet on in double time, jump on the bike and start pulling away and then CUNK! bike drops to the floor because im not used to the weight i had to let it go. and they all start laughing at me because i left the damn disk lock on it lol. although i still managed to ride away with the damn thing on 3 times after that, once breaking the spedo cable because i put it on the left side :S i just gave up and brought an immobiliser after the 4th time lol

the cheak, i can see at least 3 wheels on that big toe! but then i wouldnt want to have to try and use my weight to balance that...that thing

oil half way up the thread?! im sure oil isnt even meant to get on the thread, are you sure you have enough compression, has it been checked using the proper tools? i think its meant to be around 18psi for a dt125 although im not sure, i do know though a friend of mine ran one on only 8psi compression....although it would only bump up and ran like a bag of shite, but we never thought there wasnt enough compression on that. anyway going off track there. all in all oil going up the thread isnt good, get that bit checked out certainly.

i know the r1 and r6 are diffrent, but isnt somewhere else posted someone is selling a yzf thundercat?! i was trying to find out if the r1 is the same as yzf or there is a yzf and an r1 sort of thing...or maby yzf was an earlyer r1/r6? like steve calls himself steve yzf, why not steve r1 (or r6)...?

hehe, on my vfr400r on the front light fairing the o is achully missing so it says HO DA! lol, maby i should put a * in the gap

to start with, i thought that yzf and r1-r6 were the same thing, then i thought they could be diffrent bikes, then i thought they were the same thing again. and now really i have no clue, how comes some r1-r6's say yzf and others dont etc??? just hoping someone can clear this one up for my little mind please
