  6. I did have the option once of buying a ex boost team works engine and a load of ex works parts
  7. if your going for the race look fit a cable clutch. remember this Yamaha when they raced YZF 750's always fitted a cable clutch
  8. mines doing just over 100 and its standard !! seems a lot of work just to get 10 to 15 more let alone more over that !!

they should fit and work ok. mounting points are the same. microns would be a better choice and you can always muck about with jetting a little to improve it
  10. yes like he said OUCH
  11. If its anything like a LC you do notice the differance when a fork brace is fitted ( well I do anyway) bike will brake better for a start.also think of this if Yamaha desgined it to have one then thats a clue....
  12. I would have thought the answer would be in how much you weigh and how you like your bike to handle. I preffer a medium to heavy oil using genuine Yamaha seals as pattern ones seem to leak.
  13. I use either castrol chain wax or putoline wax stuff or just fit a scottoiler
  14. yes very important ..............bit like a 2 stroke...cheak oil before every trip lol
