agrred...I've just refurbished my 1977 xt 500 & I think it's one of the most seminal bikes of our time. a true pioneer...good choice.

Hi all I work as a photographer on MCN & I've just been given a 2008 Tenere as my long term ride. Part of the deal of having a long termer is to try & create a reader based forum to exchange views & ideas on various bike related subjects such as upcoming events & rideouts as well as more technical aspects of being a Yamaha owner... I would really appreciate some feedback regarding what it's like owning the new Tenere & if possible , come along on some rideouts... if this is feasible , then please contact me via the forum.
