Hi Just brought 1986 xj 600. Am having a complete nightmare with the wiring! Have brought a manual off flea bay but paypal is also messing around and paid with e cheque so i have to wait for that to clear now too!! grrr I can't get the bike to start have stripped down and fixed the start switch and also shorted the soloneid and it turns over. Have checked the wiring continuity and starter switch and all seems fine. However there is a strange black box (immobiliser??) that has 2 x black red, a blue/white, a pale blue and a black yellow wire going to it. It is very small about 4cm square and 0.5cm deep. When you unplug it you get no lights at all. Please could someone put me out of my misery as I can't wait the 7-9 days for paypal!! and tell me what this is or have a wiring diagram? thanks very much Kev
