  1. Thats right drewpy, the pipe is a Proma pipe for Honda mb50. New silencer and fitted to the bike. And please PM me with any q`s, I will help you as far as i can
  2. Here you go drewpy lucky for you the exhaust on your bike is the only possible to find new from Bob Wright. Maybe i should start up here again after beeing without a Yamaha for some time. As i told Paul there was a sad story with my DT, so now i have changed it for a 1973 RD350. My latest project........
  3. Thanks chrisp, I`m really looking forward to start next winter. Have to get the parts i need to paint first. I`ve tried to register on yamahaenduro.com, but i dont get any mail to activate it.....
  4. What I`m talking about here is to move the height of the ports where you want it. You could set up the engine to have more power in the middle range for sunday driving or you could set it up for maximum power at the top range for racing. On newer engines there is not mutch you can do, they are already tuned for best preformance from factory, but on older engines you could get a lot of "hidden" power by adjusting (read "grinding") your ports. If you dont know how to do it, DONT DO IT ! Its not that hard, but you could easily make the engine even worse.
  5. Velkommen ja
  6. Check your intake, exhaust and transfer timing. A skilled tuner can do magic to your engine without killing it. I`ve never checked the timing on a Yamaha engine from the 70`s before so i dont know if they are far away from perfect. Others like my Gilera have totaly wrong timing.
  7. Thank you ogb, I will look it up
