Can't see anything wrong with that myself. Not too wide or too high!
  2. I could see that the inner tube may need replacing but why would the tyre be junk? You can use it on cars (tubeless) and as long as you tell the tyre fitters they deal with it.
  3. Haven't you got to be able to get the tyre off the wheel to use this? What about this http://www.bici.co.uk/Models.aspx?PartnerID=4&ModelID=520084

My 650 Drag does the same so it may be a 'feature'
  5. Pablo - Your current licence shows the restriction so don't forget to get it changed and updated by DVLA or you risk a fine. It is not automatic as some people think. You may need to check out the threads on here about 'lost' licences before you rush to send it off. Cheers
  6. You shouldn't use a car to charge a motorcycle battery - too much charge. 1 amp max if you want it to last.
  7. The clicking when you turn the key is the fuel pump. It should stop after a few second when the carb is full. If you tun the key but forget to switch the petrol on it will 'click' for England. Yes I've done it. Have you riden it to get it warm or just on the stand - it might not be warm enough. Try new petrol too.

You may get more replies if you posted in the right section. Just a thought.

Definitely the fuel pump - try switching the ignition on with the fuel turned off - I have done it a few times - it will 'buzz' for ever, or at least until you turn the fuel on

It's not just this site. There was a major attack on another website I use - had to be shut down for a while. Why do they do it? Because they can?

No rev counter on a 650 dragstar - or there wasn't on mine when I looked today
  12. Perhaps a read of the manual may help
  13. It tells you on the certificate what type of restrictor is used. Well it does on mine - blade.

You could try Halfords for the cable connectors
  16. My contribution would be Check the emergency cut off switch. The bike stand cut off switch could be faulty or stuck. I'm sure there are loads of other things too. Hope you sort it.

I'm glad it is not just me finding the forum so very slowww. I have had to use the fast reply button as the normal reply button hadn't done anything in over a minute. It's tedious and I am now not reading all the posts - takes too long.

I tend to agree. I miss the drop down allowing to mark forum as read and return to board index. It now take an extra click and mouse moving to achieve the same. Another forum I visit has also upgraded a few weeks ago and just about getting used to it now but it is no better for the user. I accept sometimes you have to take the next step and upgrade the software, but it just doesn't look right. PS I'm now 60 so allowed to be grumpy!

it is not a spill pipe that is attached to the battery - and no fluid should come out of it. It is a gas vent pipe - to vent the hydrogen that bubbles off the plates when the battery is charging.

Try putting 'carb icing' into google or similar search engine. It is when the fuel freezes in the carb due to the low pressure created. It happens on warm damp days, not cold ones generally. The engine will stop eventually, after a period of poor running/lack of power
  22. told you an expert would be along soon!
  23. Mine has 'classic' on the front mudguard - fender? . It is also heavier than the custom and has the 650A reference. Someone will be along soon with the definitive answer. And welcome.

It is not - you have to apply for a new licence at the appropriate time.
