  1. cheers for all the replies, and yes it's a TDR125
  2. As title suggests really my rev counter has died and i'm positive it's the cable at fault, so looking on good old fleabay i cant find a "rev" cable but lots of speedo/tacho cables would these suit the rev counter? and yes i am a complete novice regards bikes
  3. cheers mate, done that but now stuck at 35-40, really banging my head against the wall on this, e-mailed Yamaha for a workshop/service manual and because it's an import one doesn't exist in english, don't you just love these little challenges life throws at you?!?
  4. hello mate, i'm having the same problem with mine, yesterday my speed suddenly dropped down to about 40mph and wouldn't increase at all, gonna try taking the carb off and giving it a good clean up on my days off, with luck this'll have a positive affect. will let you know. Paul
  5. Hello my little TDR seems to max itself out at 50mph, surely it should at least be doing 60-70mph any advise appreciated. ta

  7. Hello people, My names Paul from Market Rasen, Lincs. Just picked up a Yamaha TDR125 a 1990 import, and i'm gonna be totally 'onest I know less than nowt about bikes managed to get it up and running after being stood for a year and it passed it's MOT so happy days ahead, unfortunately can not find a service manual anywhere so stand by for lots of questions at a later date.
