  1. Fantastic! Thank you very much, i'll give that a try.
  2. Thanks for your advice, sorry i haven't said this earlier, been away on holiday! I've just been to the bike this morning and the battery wasn't dead before but it is now! Still holding enough for the alarm, just. Bought a Haynes Manual now so i'm gonna have a go at changing it myself, once i've got the battery charged, do you know if you can charge the battery while it's still connected to the bike? Only if i disconnect it i've gotta pay to get the alarm/immobiliser re-coded!
  3. Hello! I'm having trouble getting my R6 started. She's only been stood for three weeks and was working fine last time i had her out and has never given me any trouble to get started in all the time i've owned her (admitedly only 4 or so months and 250 miles). The starter motor is engaging and turning but doesn't seem to be connected. I've spoken to the mechanic at the garage where i bought it and he gave me some advice, which i took. Put the bike in gear and rocked it back and forth with still no luck. Does anybody have any ideas on what i can do? Is it worth while bump starting (if that's possible with a bike) to see if that clears it, or can i get to this starter clutch to inspect it? (bearing in mind i'm a complete novice with next to 0 experience with bikes!). Any help is greatly appreciated Sam
