  6. Yep I do miss some of the characters, and theres maybe a reason they're not around, this is my theory (I'm probably talkin blergy as usual-but here goes) when I joined the YOC, and a post was put up it showed 'viewers' instantly. this gave this site a 'live feel' what happens now is a post goes up, there are 0 views 20 mins later and that post still has '0 viewers' 42 mins later someone 'replies' to this post 1 minute later someone else also 'replies' to the post ,,,,,,,and the section page i.e. GENERAL , shows this same post as 0 views 2 replies how the hell can replies be made if no-one has 'viewed' the post it gives the impression that the forum has visitors but no-one is actualy looking at the site something has changed in the 're-fresh' or updating of this site, I dont have a problem with this site turning into a 'work-shop' per se, but there are countless other sites where this info can be sourced, this site has held my attention because it felt 'real-time', now it doesn't my attention is easily diverted
  7. Unfortunately in a year and a half, or there abouts, this site has lost 'its spark', to use the phrase of another forum regular "its turned into dullsville", I have my opinion and others have theirs, doesn't mean right or wrong, just an opinion

  13. I normally go with the 10/40, the stuff you have is lighter, if you look at the container it will give you a temperature rating, and no dont mix oils, get it drained, new filters (air as well as oil)

Sorry to anyone who could have gone to this and didn't know it was on, I only found out late last night myself http://www.perthmotorsportshow.co.uk/2010/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=8%3Adougie-maclean-to-open-perth-motorsport-show&catid=4%3Alist&Itemid=1 had a great day out today, met up with Blackhat250, BananaR6 and some friends, I had duff beer batteries in my camera so didn't get any pics from inside the show hall, a mix of vintage cars, bikes, some quads, land-yachts(I want a shot) and other stands-tools, plastic-coaters, alloy wheel makers etc, quite a lot to see, some real stunning cars-an Austin 7 like Oldgitonabike learned to drive in, me and Blackhat250 had a race to the bar to buy a refreshing beer for us all-and I won , met and chatted to some of the nice lassies from this bike club - I voted for your exibit Tilda In all, a grand day out-and at a 'sky-diver' (£5) very good value (a lot of the other shows have a lot to learn about 'returnees')

  24. barkwindjammer replied to friedegg's post in a topic in The Bar
Bad luck Friedegg, you'll do it next time I'm sure, I have developed a strategy for indicator forgetfulness, its called 'good move-bad move', while I'm bimbling around I have become an X-factor contestant and imagine that Cheryl Tweedy is my examiner, so every maneouver I do I imagine she is making a comment on it-some good and some bad-, I pretend to have a buzzer attached to her silken thong, so every maneouvre I get her opinion by pressing 'the buzzer' it works for me

unfortunately the bike has a 'link-less' shock so 'dog-bones' aren,t an option for this bike, the only mod possible is to loosen the yokes and drop them down the front forks and your only talking 16mm or there abouts, any more would affect the handling
