  1. Spray wd40 over the air intake area including carb boot and box ( I no nothing about this model btw) with the engine running if there is any air leaks in this area then the wd40 will get sucked through the carb and will result in an audible difference in idle, keep the spray away from the airbox intake itself, it may be a slack or dislodged carb rubber, if this has no effect then check the air filter itself-in the weather we've had recently it might be possible that the air filter is saturated in water ?
  2. Jets-check fuel-check spark-check air- ?

  6. There is no 'off the shelf' solution to lowering the 'divvy', I read somewhere that the monoshock from an R6 can be fitted with a bit of faff and these are shorter-but only by millimeters, if you know a good fabricator they may be able to do something with the shock mount-this would be even more faff, I have also heard of the seat foam being trimmed or a new seat being fabricated to shave an inch off the 'arse height'-butt, why waste the 'settee' of a seat thats on there already-the short arse answer is no-not really
  7. Just a complete random guess here, butt, I think its a Relais Kondensator
  8. That sounds like a good buy for the nipper, he'll have a grin like this after his first shot, then have his hand out regularly for petrol money and you'll have a grin like this
  9. Q:, "what sound track would you set this to" ? This is what a brickie wrote on his insurance claim form. He tried to move half a ton of bricks from the top of a fourth storey building to the ground below. It would have taken too long to carry the bricks down by hand,so I decided to put them in a barrel and lower them down by pulley. I fastened the rope around the barrel then around the pulley then swung it over the pavement below. this is were the trouble began, you see I only weigh 11 stone the barrel jerked me from the ground so fast I didnt have time to let the rope go and met the barrel coming down. This accounts for the bruises and cuts on my upper body. I held tightly to the rope until I reached the top, where my hand became jammed in the pulley. This accounts for my broken thumb. At the same time, however, the barrel hit the pavement and the bottom fell out. With the weight of the bricks gone, the barrel only weighed about 40lbs. Thus my 11 stone body began a swift descent, and I met the empty barrel coming up. This accounts for my broken ankle. Slowed only slightly, I continued the descent and landed on the pile of bricks. This accounts for my sprained back and broken collar bone. At this point, I lost my presence of mind completely and let go of the rope and the empty barrel came crashing down on me. This accounts for my head injuries.
