The gear shift lever is badly worn making gear change erratic and jerky, I cannot seem to remove it from the spindle, I release the nut and take out the retaining bolt but the arm will still not come off, I do not want to force it off, is there a knack to it..??

Now got stator coil fitted. Bike will not fire. Checked carb, Exhaust, Bore, Electrics.. I think this one is a gonner. How the devil can this thing run.?

Can Anyone HELP..! It seems the stator coil has packed up on My 175MX. Has anyone got a spare, or can they be re-wound. Who can do this, Where and how much.. Thanks Tom.

Can I bung in a small amount of flush and run until warm then drain..?

The engine oil in this old bike looks a bit gummy.! I don.t think it has been running for a few years (took me weeks to get it running again) What oil should I be putting in it and is there a flush I can get like you can with car engines or will one of those work just as well.? New Plug and loads of resistance when Kicked..?

Recently got my 175MX (Off Road - NO ELECTRICS) to run with a hefty Bump Start, when running seems OK, But will not kick start.? Plenty of resistance from the arm, make usual noises but wont fire up. is there I can do to get more Umph.? Thanks. Tom.

Yeah.. Bit of a wreck Eh.? But worth getting going... Any th'wiser. I bought new plug and coil but for a DT 125 would this make any diff.?

Erk..! Whats the CDI Unit. there are no markings so I dont know what model it is, thus manual.?? I can send a pic if helps..
