    Usually restrictor kits are a set of shims (effectively large washers) that are put in the inlet trumpets to restrict the amount of air that can be sucked in. Take these out and you should be ready to go

    I had the same problem, did the same, as in changing the clutch plates etc. Only really got rid of the problem when I reverted back to semi-synthetic old rather than fully synthetic Hope this helps.
