if you could make a custom part
Would be an exhaust for my R1 i reckon, a titanium 4-2-1 system, just 1 nice simple Termi can behind the foot brake, 08 R6 sorta way(or like the Moto GP bikes). Not a big fan of the twin exit under seat affair.

1 Wing mirror
Mirrors arent a legal requirement on a bike. Ricky

Heyyy
A dunno about the warranty void part there, my local Yam dealership is selling brand new R125's with full sport exhaust systems that supposedly up the power by 20%, doubt they would be doing this if it made the warranty null and void. Ricky

Event, runs or charity runs in Scotland?
Hey guys and gals, anybody know of any Yamaha meets, runs or charity runs happening in the Scotland area? Looking to do a good run on the bike this year instead of my usual half hour blast then home again. Ideally a charity event would be better as this would be for a good cause. Even a national charity event that is still looking for participators? Ricky

Buying a track bike
Hi mate, right 1st question, yes a Cat 'C' is indeed a write off, id try if possible to find out what damage the bike sustained, however isnt uncommon for it to be a write off, think alot of track bikes are made from write off's instead of good useable road bikes. 2nd question, a V5 is only any good if you intend to MOT the bike for daylight hours, if not, then it isnt a big deal, again alot of track bikes have no V5, you can however buy it then get a V5 from the DVLA.(i know you can do this with cat 'C' cars so guessing bikes are the same) 3rd question, as far as being stolen is concerned, you can get the VIN/chassis number off the bike and phone the DVLA/Police(i think) to see if it has indeed been nicked. Hope this helps mate. Ricky

R6 headers
Hi mate, Id probably suggest fitting a Power Commander if you intend to change the full lot. And if your fitting the PC it would make sense to get it set up on a Dyno, just to get it perfect. Ricky

Next up is my(or rather used to be) gorgeous Lotus Elise 111R, this was an epic little car to drive, but unfortunately for me, just not in the wet, here are the before pics: And the after: Really not proud of this crash, i loved that car soooooo much, was a little present to myself for my 22nd Bday and cost a bomb, then a year later(day before my 23rd Bday) ended up like how it did. Was a shame too, was the ULTIMATE chick magnet Next up, My Astra VXR Nurburgring Ltd Edition: VXR is now sold tho, got rid of this in June to make way for a VW Tiguan Have owned a few other cars aswell as these, but dont have any pics. Also owned a heavily modified Evo8 FQ300, this suffered a similar sort of fate to the Lotus, however this was due to an old man piling into me at 70mph and making me land in some trees Still trying to find the pics of the Evo pre and post smash. So come on guys and gals, lets see pics of your past and current cars, always interesting to see what bikers other rides are. Ricky

Just a little thought to myself...
Good on you mate, ive wanted to do a bit of touring for ages with 2 of my mates, but things just keep popping up and we never get round to it. Good luck with it, mind take a few pics;)

Paddock Stand
I use the Oxford paddock stands front and rear, good pieces of kit. Think 1 stand does all bikes, i would however fit paddock stand bobbins to your bike so you can hook the stand onto it, as the bits that come with the stand to actually hold the bike dont look very stable in my opinion. Think the stand hook attatchments are an extra tenner or something. Ricky

My 2008 Graphite R6 Replacement......
Thought id update this post a bit as i havent been on for months (bloody work commitments). Well as you will see in the following pics, the mighty R1 is back to road spec as i am no longer using this to race next year, a shiney new R6 is waiting in the wings for that task. So whilst the bike was in a million bits i cleaned all the crap from inside the fairings, and cleaned every other part i could before the time consuming job of rebuildng it properly. And here is how she looks now, same as before but now with DB screen and single seat cowl :-) And lastly a short video to let you guys and gals hear just how sweet a 2008 R1 sounds when Termi's are fitted:
