Hello folks, I'm about to take delivery of an XJ550 with a knackered starter motor. It might be just brushes, or even just some loose connections, but if it turns out that the starter is US then could someone kindly tell me if the starter from the later XJ600 range will fit mine. 550s aren't exactly thick on the ground these days, and any second -hand parts are obviously going to be pretty old.
