  1. Thanks for the reply, no I didn't use a locking pin, I just pushed the tube into the slider till it hit the bottom, now it won't return. Have stripped the fork down and I can't see how the tube can come back up the slider as the bottom allen screw at the bottom of the fork(inserted at the bottom of the slider) holds the damper rod through the nylon bush that's inserted into the bottom of the tube. The only way that I can see how it is supposed to be is, Have I rammed the botton bush into the tube? . I hope this sheds some light on this to you techies out there. Thanks again for reading. !
  2. Hi to one and all, I'm a newbie at this posting game so if I am doing wrong, please tell me. I have a Fazer 600 on a Y plate and decided to change the fork oil while I was replacing the front tyre. To you techies out there, I got to the stage where you fully compress the tube into the slider to fill up with oil, and HEY PRESTO, the tube will not come back up/out of the slider. I've tried everything but throwing it !!!. will someone out there, please be kind enough and show me the error of my ways. Many thanks for reading.
