Mine is a 2007 YBR, there have been quite a lot of complaints about the headlight... so maybe (hopefully) they have improved the bulb for the 2009 model Lucky You!..

Thanks, Could you tell me where you got your halogen lamp, and how much it cost? Did you get two? - one for main + one for the dipped? Unfortunatly, where I live, most of the roads are not lit up, and when there mainly curvey back roads, lighting becomes essential.... .Pod.

Cheers, Cov_AL. I checked, and they seem in pristine condition (is a new bike) There have been quite a few posts about the dim bulb problem on the YBR, but none have given any soloutions. =[

Sorry, It's not fully faired, I just meant the model with the light faring, rather than the round headlight.

Hi everyone. I recently got my first 'proper' bike - YBR 125 2007. Excellent bike, I have to say! That is.. untill you want to ride at night, at which point it becomes the scariest ride of your life. The headlight is very poor, and for any visability you have to ride using dipped beam all the time. Anyway, I've just bought a halogen upgrade bulb, hopefully will make SOME improvement. I want to know whether I will need to remove all the front fairings ( I have the fully faired model, with the square headlight), or whether there is an easier way to change the bulb. Also, how would I adjust the angle of the main beam, as currently it seems to shoot hgih up into the air, and basically everywhere other than the road ahead of me... Any help? Many thanks.
