hi everybody, so as I was doing a little spirited driving with my dad here in Carlsbad, California I noticed something peculiar. Okay, I know very well that a 1996 VFR 750 has a much more powerful engine, powerband is suffitiently different but where the hell is our power band? In 3rd gear I feel a little umph but mostly across the board the acceleration is just blah. Now, it does seem to have a good deal of torque in the lower gears so I'm able to pull through a turn (or continue to pull through, since I'm on the throttle all the time right? ) but where have you guys noticed the power band sitting at?

I'm actually looking at a set of Michelin Pilot 2Ct...but it might be more tire than I actually need. thanks for the tips though. I know with my car I had a set of Dunlops that kicked ass.

hey folks, I've been reading up on rubber and there are so many choices that its almost impossible to narrow anything down. Maybe you folks with Seca's and Diversions can help me out. I do a lot of touring in the area (San Diego) and of course the bike is my transportation to and from work. I need something that a little sticky, but wears well. What do you recommend, what have you used, what do you abhor? Thanks ahead of time.

Thank you again!
