  1. Ok I'm off for a fiddle with the bike over the weekend and I'll let you know how I get on, thanks for the replies. Fingers Crossed!
  2. Is the imobiliser unit seperate from the main alarm control box? Does it just kill ignition or is it worked into fuel pump, etc.... The wireing is all black, I've taken the loom out at all the shrink tube joins (I've marked them so I can reattach), and off the -ve battery lead. What's confused me is where the shrink tube joins are the rest goes into the loom and looks standard factory fit. The kill switch is set to on (everyone does it I know ) the stand switch is fine, and as far as I'm aware there is no clutch switch on the R6 (like there is on GSXR's). If I need to bridge any of the wires which should I be looking for?
  3. No starter button is dead, doesn't do anything, think I may have to bridge one of the alarm wires. Are they built into the loom as standard do you know?
  4. My 2001 R6 won't start, battery had gone flat as a fart though non use so charged it with trickle charger (nothing different to usual proceedure). Went to use bike in morning and imobiliser won't disengage (Meta 357 or 351 can't remember which!) but all other electrics seem to work fine (lights, horn, neutral light, etc....) but not go on starter button and won't even bump off. I've since removed the alarm unit and all wireing thinking that was the problem and still won't start, same problem!? Any ideas anyone?
