PJ! is the best comes in satin or gloss black for engine cases. they are petrol proof when cured!!

take it easy there, make sure your tyres are in good nick and at the correct pressure. fitting a big bore will invalidate your insurance (as may a taller gear) and make sure your license is valid for a motorbike. (I sound like a boring boring old fart (ergo OG))

just recieved notification the the Barnsley motorcycle festival date is the 21st June 09. the problem with just tightening them up is that the end might puncture the inner tube. you will need to take the tyre off, then you can tighten them till they "ring" the same as the others, then check for trueness by spinning the wheel with a marker near the rim for visual confirmation.

is there a fuel smell on the spark plug? you could always throw a bit of fuel in there to see if it sarts up and if it does the carb is blocked (or the petrol tap is switched off) if you can get a run with a bit of fuel in, knock off £50 at least as its a pain getting the carb cleaned if you don't know what you are doing!!

I used JRS to clean my carbs (ultrasonic after strip down) as you say there are loads of tiny holes which ultrasonics will shift.

did you turn it over with the starter motor?

did the hubs meself in PJ1 satin black. spokes are off vintage101 on ebay and they were free as he didn't have the specs for his catalogue. This was the first time I ever laced wheels, so I'm dead chuffed I did it (only took 15 mins each wheel) I am bottling the tentioning though as I know a guy in warrington who is a top wheel builder (does the teams in the Manx TT etc)
