Tommy called round tonight. He wanted to balance the carbs on his XJR It took longer to take the tank off than balance the carbs, although I have done it quite a few times. checked your air filter for flow? the mix screw turned out richens the mix. when did you last check ignition timing and checked contact gap/dwell?

try the air beds from decathlon I got one which weighs 1.5 lb and about the size of my hand. dead comfy too

be careful, not all cables can be oiled as some have a silicone lining and oil will swell them with dire results.

you mean around the cable nipple? yes leave it on, its nylon and very hard wearing and acts like a bearing between soft alloy and the brass nipple
