decided to trial fit the R6 shock I got, def doable. make an adapter for the top of the shock to clear and hopefully I can use the YVPS dogbones as the original hits the rebound adhuster. can someone please, if you have a YVPS, measure the swing arm bracket length and inner diameter? someone did a lovely CNC version

If you don't find anything, I'd pull the clutch cover off and check that the starter gear to the clutch basket is not loose, that makes a noise. Also the pin behind the basket wears too. do a search on the forum for easy fix for top end make sure the camchain tensioner is working
