I hate fixing bodges, especially if they aren't mine!
drewpy replied to wild foamy's topic in The Bar
foams, just weld a nut onto the stud it'll come out no probs. best to shield the rest of the engine though so no splatter gets in there -
capt, i got one here 1/2 mile where you live. thought you had a charger? bring battery round as its screwed onto the wall
-
good buy, after a paint job, will look really good
-
relays are very reliable, fitted 2 to the tracker to facilitate micro switches. buy them from Maplin. you will also get zero battery drain, and you need all the amps you can get feeding the pilot lamp
-
batteries tend to be fubarred if they drain down below 10v. there is a battery place on Bright road near you where I got my Gel battery for the FZ http://premierbatteryservices.co.uk/ he's a sole trader so delivers himself, give him a bell first

I've signed it, but what difference it makes is anyones guess https://www.change.org/p/minister-of-transport-reduce-road-tax-on-motorcycles?

the hardest part will be to find somewhere to put it securely its just a heavy duty switch using small amp electric to activate it (the switched live in this instance via ignition key)

-
def use a relay, activated on a brown switched live
-
first thing OT said when I picked up the FZ, watch you don't put the pilot lamp on!
-
I tend not to use clutch on up changes as it changes a lot better

and head bearing tightness

liam where are you from? just update your info for us
-
that's a looker I see you already have 4 pots on there so apart from aesthetics, no real benefit IMHO
-
that's what I thought, was useful for me. Capt, didn't see flames but wasn't looking for them either
-
great stuff, to post pictures, you need a photo account and copy/paste the IMG link into the text box. don't post on this thread, start another thread

-
when I go to stafford, its usually the little chef near the A500 where we normally stop
-
