silver linings that it didn't do more damage I suppose Jason. I snapped a barrel stud today on the FZ so It either needs drilling or spark eroding.

came across this how to and thought i'd share it. Saves you loads of money on professional services and you get the satisfaction of doing it yourself. doing my FZ today seriously, some may, but please don't try this at home

could try an HPI check on the vin only if it already had a UK reg!

not good at at all I've gone with RH classic insurance as they found a cracking quote and they accept pre 1990 motorcycles as Classic (not many do) so I got the FZ and xs fully comp for £97 including uninsured loss, breakdown etc etc. Paid that in full so there's no comeback.

its the mudguards that may touch. a 120 on the rear is max without the chainguard and 1mm from the drive chain
