-
good idea Tommy, still not fixed my throttle as the one i got was no-where near correct. got bits4bikes to order two and i'm going round tomorrow afternoon to pick the best one

you have the same brakes as my fz600 which were from an FRZ400r bike, so I'd look at those bikes for stuff to fit
-
the older 1987 FZ's have race fairings and seat units available. you'd have to cut out the headlamp nacelle. R6 fairing have also been made to fit the FZ's too I have a spares nacelle you could have if you want to try it. it fits to a front subframe

I use folwers for online parts, really good and if in stock , next day delivery. then try CMSNL a dutch site where they have bought a very large inventory of stuff for older yams etc. the only caveat is they are expensive.

got the day off today, but I should have stayed in bed.... car wouldn't start, so had to trouble shoot and worked out it was the leak off pipes, so £35 lighter, fitted them and then the battery was drained so had to buy a battery charger £29. So whilst that's charging, I did a bit more on the fz engine, the ratchet spanner I was using slipped upwards and got wedged between nut and engine, i could ratchet it but not get it back over the nut. so I've just left it for now,too hot and bothered and will have to grind the spanner in half to get it off (lovely spanner too) at least the car started and ran ok after a lengthy charge, but what a waste of a day
