It is with sad tidings that Paul Brown AKA Oldtimer, passed away a couple of weeks ago I've only just got a text from his Son, Nick and his funeral is at southern Cemetery, Manchester Crem this Thursday at 10:55. A lot of peeps on here have met Paul, mostly through Squires the past few years and he only recently he had to give up his bikes due to ill health my thoughts and Prayers are with his family. well I've finally sussed it. As usual it was a few things; 1) the exhaust cam was 1 tooth out 2) A few valve gaps were out of specs (poss due to the head bedding down) 3) re torqued the head down and it took another 1/2 turn to get the necessary torque thanks for your input fellas! it revs out and so much better the engine is a '91 xj600 in an Fz600 chassis. well I've finally sussed it.
