  1. if you go into fowlers parts online, you can drill down and see what else the part fits. then use google/ebay to source parts to fit your bike. I'm closing this thread down as its over 5 years old
  2. enjoy the bikes, you'll learn plenty. Most parts are shared with the 400 too
  3. Ciao, a great collection there
  4. my area too, have you been to the delph?
  5. MD great bikes, i like the pre divvy myself
  6. can you start a new thread as this is for new member introductions ta
  7. Dave, nice collection
  8. yep, i've done that on mine. think i changed the pilot size though. this was on a 400
  9. cool project
  10. pods on the (Y?, shouldn't that be H?) lineate the air flow for the CV carbs
  11. could also check your grounds as powder coating insulates. I'd get it back on points initially like Jimm sats and get it going then put the neutronics back in after
  12. 🤣 they are simple machine, i assume you have the soho version? check your timing as you can be out 180' have you touched the engine? did it run before? carbs are a big issue as there are some tiny drillings in there and they need a proper ultrasonic clean. you can check by spraying easy start to see if you get a sniff from the engine
  13. I always torque my clutch springs, did you measure and check the spring length before assembling the clutch? I you don't have a torque wrench, invest in one. I cycle as well and had to buy another one 2nm to 12nm or I could crush the carbon frame. have you adjusted the clutch properly, also could be binding. take off or loosen the clutch cable and with the engine off, engage gear and see if there is resistance when you turn the back wheel. Its just a process of elimination
  14. you could drill out the threaded part on the fork larger and rethread to take whatever adapter you need. could be a tophat section so there's more clamping action on the spindle to fork leg.
  15. the saturday was pretty grim weather wise late morning but I think we got the best weather earlier in the week though. did 1000 miles in all touring Yorkshire dales and into Lancs for devils bridge. I'll put the photos on facebook as it won't let me upload any here Drewps
