usually because the battery doesn't give enough amps to the starter motor, so don't let it labour. keep the battery well charged

the fuel still flows and if your carb float needle is faulty, it could flood your engine and lock up the pistons. you'll smell fuel if you you take out a spark plug.

sometimes I have to move the bike forward to get neutral, it happens with all 3 bikes i have. just snick into neutral just before you stop

I used marine supply shops. just need to use google. get the ones with a reverse thread on one end zipkart shops are also good for stuff like that
