stick with it, it'll come right in the end. I found bare wire wrapped around a snapped connector yesterday and expertly wrapped in some rubbery stuff (it was good rubbery stuff too, wish I knew what it was) that was on the TDM

just restored a wing rack and fitted it today. all stainless fittings and painted silver to match the bike's frame

get to speed and pull in the clutch and see if the vibration stops. that will elinminate or confirm the engine. could be anything at this stage
