    or float height has changed. try running some fuel cleaning additive through the tank to see if it helps

  8. what i meant was take up the slack and feel a little resistance, then swing. some folk just put a foot on the kick and wack it through putting undue strain on the system. the cg125 i got had a snapped kicker.

  12. never had any probs with mine except for wear on the spindle. a lot of riders jab at the kickstart which will put an undue strain asthe slack gets taken up. I'm sure if its done properly there would be no issues. maybe a previous owner misused it? not sure about the hvc stuff, but very expensive!!

  15. if the floats drop into the bowl and are not fouled in any way, the ideal height will be 3mm from top of gasket when full of fuel. i think you need to experiment with the float heights. So to answer your other question, no, the floats would not just drop in without some sort of tang bending. I hope the floats you got are able to do that as some floats are fixed for a particular carb!! 34mm is the venturi nearest the engine.

    i use firefox, a sticky is a pinned thread that stays permenantly (until the mods see fit) at the top of the catagory.
