your html was all over the place, it just needs the IMG tags which are copied from you photobucket account! dural (duraluminum) is a hard aluminium used for stressed items. this is not my project but some thing i pinched off german ebay at the time. it looks like all you need is the plate and the caliper alingns with the disk! drewps
  5. drewpy replied to CadXS's topic in Classics
you won't get a direct replacement, but you can fit 300mm fzr400 disk and GXR 4 piston caliper with dural mounts. BTW I've sorted out out your picture

hi Dan, enjoy your new bike. Ian has a "little" problem? better see a therapist
  8. bought loads from USA and with UPS you always pay customs duty value over £18. If you go general air/snail mail I can usually get away with it if they put "gift" on the package.

Akela is cubs the pikkies don't do the place justice and to top it off, there were loads of bikes around, the most popular were the BMW GS's although i did see an MT01, Mk1 le mans and couple of trikes. and of course the harleys are everywhere!!

felix, you are better off getting them from the UK ebay. search for "xs250" "xs 250", they have the spokes with disks front and rear!! ( but not all 250's) I have two sets for each of my 400's
  15. should fit as the holes are the same and I dont belive yamaha changed their castings. I think you also have a camshaft seal gone, but check first that the camshaft doesn't rock whilst still bolted in the head!! ( worn) drewps

  21. still listed mate, http://www.georgiawatersports.com/ http://www.nwvintagecycleparts.com/ SKU: 95821-10145-00 BOLT, FLANGE as for the square tank, there are loads in UK ebay!
  22. they are not stripped, they are turning the inside lower damper rod. you need to get a 15mm dowel and chamfer the end then ram it down the inside tube to lock the damper rod after taking out the spring. A grip in the vice to hold it and then try the allen again. it will be tight. next time you do this you need to "shock" the allen off or it will turn again!! drewps
