clutch is slipping, then grabbing. You need either to find out what oil is in there as the PO may have put car oil in which ruins the clutch plates, or change the oil completly. if that fails then you'll need to get to the clutch, first get a clutch cover gasket, you'll need one unles the pO has coated a previous one with grease before fitting. you won't need to dump the oil, just leave the bike on its side stand. I assume you know your way round motorcycles?

needs loctiting too, prob that's why it failed

I'm unsure how the cam sprocket got down there, was the camshaft missing?

crank sprocket is part of the crank, so the PO couldn't of removed that

try carl salter (google) no more mention on this site regarding M0nuals as bots pick up on it and give the site owner (Alex) a lot of hassle and withdraw funding
-
so no camshaft / sprocket or both?
-
I'd check the cam timing, its easy to get wrong. Even1 tooth out could make a difference and make sure the camchain is properly tensioned as per manual
-
the starter is completely separate from the kick transmission, don't confuse the 2. the clutch should lock when spun anticlockwise and be free when spun clockwise with it on the crank
-
I'm sure you would but forum etiquette says you introduce yourself and complete your profile before anyone will help. then post wants in wanted section
